Named Top Retailer by NBDA 2024

Shore Brake Cyclery Named Top Retailer from the National Bicycle Dealers Association for the Fifth Time

BRANT BEACH, N.J. – June 18, 2024 – Shore Brake Cyclery has been honored with the highest Bicycle Retailer Excellence Award by the National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA) for the fifth year. Additionally, this year, Shore Brake Cyclery also received the prestigious President's Award, making this recognition particularly special.

Participants worked with the NBDA over a period of three months to meet current challenging industry conditions and turn them into opportunities for growth and excellence. They developed communication strategies, key performance indicators, organized community events, and gathered feedback from the community, all with a focus on achieving retail excellence.

The NBDA's Bicycle Retailer Excellence Award, rebranded in 2021 to emphasize inclusivity and celebrate diversity in bicycle retail, continues to recognize Shore Brake Cyclery for its outstanding performance. The shop has previously been honored with the Best Bike Shops Program accolade in 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023. Retailers were recognized in late May at the Retailer Summit held in Bentonville, Arkansas. Kulp attended the Summit in person to receive the shop’s award.
