Shore Brake Cyclery Invites Long Beach Island and Stafford Communities to Spring Cycling Extravaganza: "Wine and Wrenching" followed by Earth Week Group Ride
Shore Brake Cyclery, the hub of cycling excellence on Long Beach Island, is thrilled to announce two exciting events designed to kickstart the spring and summer cycling season while supporting a worthy cause.
First up is "Wine and Wrenching" on Friday, April 26, starting at 5:30 p.m. This event is tailor-made for both seasoned cyclists and newcomers alike, offering an evening of fine wine, delectable food from Shana at One Board Blonde Charcuterie and refreshments from local breweries and wineries, and invaluable bike maintenance insights.
From mastering the art of fixing a flat tire to general bike maintenance tips, attendees will have the opportunity to learn Bike 101 essentials from our expert team. "We're excited to welcome everyone to 'Wine and Wrenching'," says Charlie Kulp, Owner at Shore Brake Cyclery. "It's the perfect occasion to prepare for the upcoming cycling season, ensuring our community rides with confidence and safety."
Following this educational evening, Shore Brake Cyclery invites cyclists to join them for an Earth Week Group Ride on Saturday, April 27, at 8:30 a.m. Starting from our bike shop at 3801 Long Beach Blvd, participants will embark on a scenic journey to Holgate, raising funds for Alliance for a Living Ocean along the way. For every rider, Shore Brake Cyclery will donate $10 towards this vital cause, reinforcing our commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement.
"This spring and summer, we're dedicated to ensuring that cyclists on Long Beach Island have the knowledge and resources they need for safe, enjoyable rides," adds Kulp. "From maintenance tips to road safety awareness, we're here to support our community every step of the way."
Don't miss these exciting events as we pedal into the warmer months with confidence, camaraderie, and a commitment to making a difference in our community and our environment.
